Gelcoats ISO-NPG and topcoats
Gelcoats and topcoats
Acrylic-modified gelcoats based on ISO/NPG are characterized by high resistance to chemical effects, impacts and thermal shocks. No cracks are observed at temperature differences, their thermal resistance is very high. They can be used in any composite system where atmospheric and hydrolytic resistance, as well as chemical and mechanical resistance are important. ISO/NPG based gelcoats are compatible with polyester pigment pastes. They can provide a very long service life for products that have a very light color, ensuring that they do not turn yellow, tarnish or fade under the influence of weather conditions because they are highly resistant to UV radiation. They are convenient to apply and provide great comfort of work due to the low styrene content compared to orthophthalic and isophthalic gelcoats. The final product achieves a very high gloss effect on the surface. It is used in the production of kitchen countertops, sinks, washbasins, chemical tanks and handicraft products, sea yachts.
General purpose gelcoats - orthophthalic
General-purpose orthophthalic-based gelcoats are the preferred products in applications where corrosion and water resistance are not required. These gelcoats are compatible with colored pigment pastes. They are intended for industrial use for various purposes. They can also be used as the so-called topkot on internal elements, most often in the production of yachts and boats.
