VENDECK decks made of EVA foam have a closed-cell structure (CCF), which makes them resistant to water, very flexible, lightweight and easy to process. The variety of colors and patterns means that you can give your project your own style and achieve the desired end result.

VENDECK brand foams can be used on both smooth and anti-slip decks.

If the surfaces are exceptionally high and additionally have a rhomboidal structure, we recommend sanding them down.

However, if you do not want to permanently interfere with the structure of the yacht or if the surfaces are lower, we recommend using a special 3M primer. It strengthens the adhesive adhesion and allows for permanent gluing of the VENDECK foam.

The product retains its properties in a wide temperature range, i.e. from -40°C to +75°C – so it can be used on the surfaces of decks, companionways, seats, table tops and other external elements.

The foam is pleasantly soft to the touch and is very easy to clean – typical dirt from elements made of this material can be removed with a household detergent or a mild solvent.

Vendeck panels are self-adhesive using a 3M adhesive backing, and wrapping a boat should not be a problem for most people. An averagely fit person can wrap their boat in one afternoon.

The most important thing is the pressure during gluing. The best results are obtained by using a rubber roller for pressing.

Vendeck foam from Willyberg is very easy to keep clean. All you need is detergent and a soft brush. Vacuum, soak, wash, rinse.
